Step 1: Enable Web Services in Sage Intacct

To allow MindCloud to connect with Sage Intacct, web services must be enabled.

Navigate to Company / Admin / Subscriptions.

Scroll down and ensure Web Services is enabled.

If it’s not enabled, contact Sage Intacct support to activate it.

Step 2: Create a User

Either create a new for your integration or use an existing one.

Go to Company / Users and click the ➕ icon to create a new user.

Set the User ID.

Enter the email address.

Save the user.

Step 3: Set Up a Web Service User

Now, let’s create a Web Service User for API authentication.

Navigate to Company / Admin / Web Service Users.

Click the ➕ icon to create a new web service user.

Set the User ID to the user from Step 2 and use the same email address from Step 2.

Assign the Contact Name you created earlier.

Step 4: Configure Permissions and Roles

Set the User Type to Business.

Assign Limited Admin privileges (or define role-based access based on your integration needs).

If using Role-Based Management, assign an existing role or create a new one.

If using User-Based Management, use the Subscriptions section to define module access.

Step 5: Add Your Sender ID to the Allowed List

Sage Intacct requires your Sender ID to be authorized for API access.

If you don’t have your Sender ID, contact Sage Intacct support.

Navigate to Company / Setup / Company.

Go to the Security section and select Edit.

Scroll down to Web Service Authorizations.

If your Sender ID isn’t listed, click Add, enter the Sender ID, and save.

Step 6: Configure Credentials in MindCloud

Now, we’ll connect Sage Intacct to MindCloud.

Open MindCloud and go to the Integration Settings.

Enter the following credentials:

  • Label: A name for the connection.  

  • Company ID: Your Sage Intacct Company ID (used to log in).  

  • User ID: The Web Service User ID created in Step 3.  

  • User Password: The password for that Web Service User.  

  • Sender Password: The password for the Sender ID.  

  • Sender ID: The ID added in Step 5.  

Click Done to save your settings.

Step 7: Run a Test Connection

Let’s test if everything is working!

In MindCloud, select an action like List Contacts.

Run the action – MindCloud will connect and retrieve data from Sage Intacct.

If successful, your integration is now live! 🎉
